How Many?

How many women are living their lives in pain? Getting up and doing their jobs in pain? Looking after their children and families in pain?
How many are barely getting through their lives  on an inadequate cocktail of painkillers? How many are self-medicating with red wine, walking around clutching a hot water bottle?
How many brilliant women are being held back from achieving their potential because for ten days plus  a month , it's all they can do to get out of bed?
How many years do we have to wait for a cure or even adequate relief?
I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore....
How many are with me?
